These memberships provide University of Iowa faculty, students, and staff with exclusive access to a wealth of resources, tools, and opportunities to further your sustainability journey.

Why Should You Explore These Platforms?

PGH: Tailored for healthcare and sustainability professionals, PGH offers best practices, guides, and case studies focused on reducing environmental impacts in health care and improving health outcomes for patients.

AASHE: Designed for higher education institutions, AASHE offers an array of resources, from sustainability benchmarking tools to webinars and professional development opportunities.

Practice Greenhealth:

As members of PGH, UI staff have access to sustainability toolkits, case studies, newsletters, listservs, webinars, and more.  UIHC staff can also join a variety of virtual cohorts, including an Academic Medical Center cohort, to network with and learn from other health care organizations. 

To create a Practice Greenhealth account and access these resources using the UIHC membership: 

• Go to https://practicegreenhealth.org/ 
• Click the “sign up” button in the upper right corner 
• Follow the prompts using your @uiowa.edu email address 
• Use Membership Access Code 167532 when prompted 
• Click “continue” then enter your information into the account registration page 
• Click “continue” then create a password 

Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education:

As members of AASHE, UI staff have access to sustainability toolkits, case studies, newsletters, listservs, webinars, and more.

• Go to www.aashe.org.
• Click the "New Account" button in the upper right corner
• Follow the prompts using your @uiowa.edu email address to create an account
