Ron loves spending time observing the natural world and is passionate about restoring and protecting our natural habitats found in Iowa. Ron graduated from the University of Iowa in 2020 with a degree in Criminology but came back to the University to pursue a calling in Environmental Science. As a veteran of the Iowa Army National Guard, Ron plans to use the skills he learned during his time serving to help conservation efforts in the state of Iowa. In his free time, he can be found spending time with his wife, Maggi, and their three dogs. He also enjoys baseball, gardening, bonsai, and watching movies and TV shows with his wife.
