The University of Iowa College of Public Health has selected Peggy Shepard, co-founder and executive director of WE ACT for Environmental Justice, as the 2023 recipient of the Richard and Barbara Hansen Leadership Award. Ms. Shepard will deliver the Hansen Lecture, "Advancing Environmental Health Through Justice and Equity," on Nov. 8. This event is free and open to the public.
